| 17.10.08 Paris Hilton appears to have finally succeeded in her quest to snare a British Prince.Just one day after the socialite apparently failed in her attempts to attract Princes William and Harry during a raucous night out, she looked enchanted to be introduced to Prince Michael of Kent. The odd couple met at designer Nicky Haslam's society party for art collector Janet de Botton. Despite the credit crunch forcing millions to tighten their belts, Haslam hosted the opulent party, believed to have cost £200,000, at his ancestral home Parkstead House in Roehampton. Starting at 10pm, most guests didn't arrive until nearer midnight. Clearly none had to worry about about struggling into work this morning as they partied well into the early hours.Also pleased to make Paris's acquaintance at the extravagant event were Sarah Ferguson and Princess Beatrice. The other guests included Cilla Black, Joely Richardson, Bryan Ferry, Bob Geldof, Jemima Khan, Jerry Hall and Jo Wood.
